Got Some Juicy News . . . Jamba is Here!

Jamba juice, California’s iconic lifestyle brand, known for all-natural smoothies and juices, has arrived in the Philippines. Brought in by Max’s Group of Companies, one of the largest food chains in the country, Jamba Juice made Philippines its first site in Southeast Asia for the active living market.
“We’ve seen how Filipinos are becoming more inclined towards dynamic and active endeavors, and this shift has prompted us to seek products that would complement that lifestyle.” shares Sharon Fuentebella, Managing Director of Jamba Juice Philippines.
Jamba Juice launched its pioneering flagship store in Bonifacio High Street Central last November. Situated in a tropical country with a growing, dynamic population, Jamba Juice Philippines posted an excellent performance that made Manila its current biggest market in Asia.
In line with the Max’s Group of Companies’ commitment of introducing more stores to make Jamba products more accessible, they opened another store in the south of the metro last March 21, 2012. Guests during the launch wore yellow shirts and cheered as Jamba Juice President and CEO James D. White along with the other officers arriv ed in the branch.
“Alabang is a great model for a district that exudes a dynamic lifestyle. In fact, it is also known for being the hometown of cyclists—an example of the active lifestyle market that Jamba Juice has successfully served in California for many years,” says Mark Gamboa, Marketing Director of Jamba Juice Philippines.

During the short presscon that followed, it was revealed that our very own Guimaras mangoes, the best in the world, will be utilized for their mango smoothies.  They announced as well that tree planting would be the focus of their advocacy in the country.

 The Alabang Town Center Branch, which is now recognized as the second store in South East Asia, will be followed by a third store located in SM Mall of Asia.
Fruitful beginnings
It all started in 1990 with a blender and a zest for healthy living in the small California beach town of San Luis Obispo. Kirk Perron, an avid cyclist and dynamic entrepreneur, created delicious beverages by blending healthful ingredients together that he drank to replenish his body after the long rides. Perron became enamored to the idea of sharing his “smoothies” with everyone and poured that passion into the development of the first Jamba Juice store.
In 2008, Jamba Juice began expanding the menu to include healthy and great tasting delicacies that complement the brand’s famed smoothies like hot breakfast wraps and California Flatbread.  Adding meal options is part of Jamba Juice’s strategy, which the company calls the BLEND plan.
