Makati City, Philippines— The business of medicine is made more lucrative with over the counter purchase convenience of mobile loads while purchasing your medicines. Generika opens its doors to franchising as it launches a tie-up with Globe, providing customers with the added service of point-of-sale (POS) purchase of globe load. This was announced in a Lunch Press Conference held at Banana Leaf in Greenbelt 3 last April 19, 2012. Attending the event were Julien Bello, VP Generika Franchising Dept, Dhing Pascual, Gobe Telecom Head—National Commercial Accts, Michael Maquiran, Generika National Head—Business Development.
Generika Drugstore, a pioneer in the retail distribution of quality affordable medicines in the country, joins forces with Globe to enable customers who are buying medicines at Generika check-out counters to be able to quickly reload their Globe or TM prepaid phones via the POS technology. Customers buying medicine will also be able to buy Globe or TM prepaid load in any of the 260 Generika branches’ check -out counters nationwide.
To purchase prepaid load, a customer simply needs to give his/her mobile number to the cashier at the check-out counter and indicate the desired amount of load to buy. The service provides instant virtual credit upon payment. Then the customer gets both a text confirmation as well as a receipt. “Walang Daya” guarantees Dhing Pascual, Globe Head of National Accounts. He explains that there are now four ways to get load: the purchase of the prepaid card; the phone-to-phone Autoload Maxx; share-a-load from your friends or family; and finally the POS technology now offered in Generika
With this system of purchase, customers are a assured of getting their load instantly credited to their Globe or TM account upon payment. They get a double confirmation through text as well as a receipt as proof of purchase. Another great thing is that customers don’t have to buy a minimum of P25 load just to send a single reply to their friends as they can load from P10 to 150 with increments of P1 allowed. So if you have change of P11 or P14 from a medicine purchase, you can opt to convert this to load instead within this same transaction.
