andra Pionilla“We would like to help our customers relax and achieve easy living at home, as opposed to worrying over things in the kitchen or with their laundry,” says Andrea Pionilla, Group Product Manager of Electrolux Philippines, Inc. “ A home is not meant to be a stressful and tiring environment. This is the insight that led to the launch of our newest line of FlexFresh™ and NutriFresh™ refrigerators and Time Manager washing machines.”

A refrigerator that not only preserves food, but increases the nutritional quality of produce at the same time? A washing machine that weighs each load to determine detergent quantity and wash settings?  These are the latest range of intuitive washing and food storage appliances by Electrolux that have been inspired by real households in Southeast Asia.

The latest range of refrigerators by Electrolux doesn’t just preserve food well, but also comes with intuitive features to help enrich flavors.  The NutriFresh™ refrigerators comes equipped with a host of intuitive features such as NutriLight™, a patented system of LEDs that boosts the vitamin content of fruits and vegetables.  Both FlexFresh™ and NutriFresh™ refrigerators make everyday storage challenges a thing of the past with adjustable shelves to provide more storage options for larger containers and bag clips to hang and store items straight from the market.

The new intuitive appliances aren’t isolated to the kitchen.  The Time Manager front-load range of washing machines are designed to be gentler on your clothes, your pocket and the environment at the touch of a button. The Time Manager function offers customizable wash times based on soil level – saving time and energy with every wash. The Vapour Action function gently relaxes fabrics and eliminates up to 99.9% of allergens to achieve cleaner and more hygienic clothes and the new Load Sensor™ technology ensures every load is optimised by intuitively weighing the load before recommending the cycle and quantity of detergent needed.

“Launching products that think and reflect the way we live is at the heart of our design philosophy; and our latest appliances are a testament to that. Every new product from Electrolux is developed based on extensive consumer insight, gathered from thousands of interviews and home visits that observe how consumers use and interact with their household appliances.  In fact, the key cities of Manila and Cebu were part of our consumer visits. By examining these trends, we can better understand how to further enhance our appliances with new innovations and continue to make a positive difference to their lives everyday,” commented Pionilla.
