Frozen and Granvia Buffet For a Memorable Easter

SAM_1203SAM_1216Easter Sunday is usually a home day for us.  We attend morning mass, have a simple lunch, then prepare for an early dinner feast with the household members and their families.  My mother would be in charge of filling up the eggs then assigning the help to hide them.  Egg-hunting and eating would be the main activity for the day.

This year, we had a slight change of plans.  After an enticing invitation from a good friend, we headed off to Best Western  Plus Antel Hotel for an Easter Celebration with the ever-popular, tireless, theme of Disneys’s “Frozen”.   The room was filled with colorful decors that built the excitement for the kids. Games,  egghunting, and an entertaining magic show kept the kids in high energy and eager to participate.  Let’s face it, kids enjoy being with other kids then add a contest, fun show, and souvenirs then you have something memorable for them.  Happy kids mean happy moms and dads.

SAM_1238That wasn’t the end of our day.  This was followed by a late breakfast buffet at the Granvia Cafe. We had our fill of Bulgogi, garlic rice, pancit, arroz ala cubana, longaniza, fruits, crepes, iced tea, orange juice and many more.  The kids kept coming back to the buffet table for more. Needless to say, we were full to the brim.  We lingered after the meal for coffee and conversation with friends.  That’s because the ambiance of Best Western Plus Antel Hotel’s Granvia Caf felt relaxing and conducive for friendly conversation.  The helpful and smiling staff added to the pleasant atmosphere.  We were more than satisfied for a whole day of Easter fun because when we reached home by  4pm, we were still in time for an egg hunt at home with the household family.  Sharing a simple dinner feast with those who have helped us for many years was the second climax of the day.  Thank God for another special Easter Day 2014  and Lent Season with the family.
