UNIQLO Opens number 17 at Rockwell’s Power Plant Mall

SAM_4491SAM_4448Shopping like there’s no tomorrow . . . well at least that’s what it felt like to me when UNIQLO, Japan’s leading global apparel brand, opened its 17th store in the Philippines at the Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati City last October 24.  All these wonderful value-for-money pants, shirts, jackets kept me spinning around and around, then there’s the kids and babies section that made me spin more.  In a nutshell, it’s great fabric, reasonable prices, quality stitching that kept me in the shop longer than usual.

SAM_4444One thing that people don’t realize about this brand is the quality, research, and effort put in one garment.  Think Japanese, think perfection, think reputation.  World-class but with prices affordable to most.  As a mother, I would invest in clothes to a brand offering this much concern to my children as well as to a mother’ s budget.

SAM_4457UNIQLO Rockwell Power Plant Mall will also carry UNIQLO’s Kids and Babies expanded collection for the 2014 Fall/Winter season. The new lineup, which believes that “kids should be free to be kids,” is centered on 5 ideas that should be incorporated in the design of the kids’ and babies’ clothes—freedom of movement, comfort, easier removal, fun designs and safety features to promote kids’ growth and health.SAM_4458

The choice of Power Plant Mall was made to serve primarily Makati City residents and other key areas south of Metro Manila. Makati City is the Philippines’ financial/business district with a growing reputation as an entertainment and lifestyle and makes it an ideal location for UNIQLO’s new store, which is envisioned to become a place for the family to shop for their clothes. Power Plant Mall is a top-of-mind choice for shopping and leisure activities, particularly among the most discerning shoppers and mall-goers.

SAM_4459The Philippines is the 12th branch country of Japan where UNIQLO has presence, after opening stores in the US, UK, France, Russia, China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. UNIQLO also operates stores in other countries in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

SAM_4461UNIQLO is seen as an innovator in the global apparel industry because of its various product lines that are highly functional and of outstanding quality at an affordable price. This UNIQLO promotes through its latest global brand concept “LifeWear,” which describes UNIQLO apparel as Clothes for a better life for everyone, every day.

The UNIQLO store at the R2 level of the Power Plant Mall is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends and 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays.
