For Summer and beyond, Fujifilm Instax launched “Instax and Crafts” last April 9 a the Ayala Malls Market! Market! Activity Center with an afternoon of arts and crafts workshops with Mikko Sumulong of I Try DIY and Marielle Nadal-Reyes of Craft MNL,. Indie folk band, The Ransom Collective, enertained the crowd with upbeat and fun music while the attendies learned different and creative ways to showcase their photos through greeting cards and mobiles among other projects.
What truly made it a breeze was choosing photos from your mobile phones and printing it on the spot with the instax printer. Embelishing the photos with colorful accessories of stickers, marker pens, tapes and fancy papers was a creative challenge with limited time. Overwhelmed with the different possibilities in a short time can get one frustrated so I suggest you set aside a full day or two to make your works of art fulfilling and satisfactory for you. Consider it a family bonding activity, an activity that you can enjoy with your children and elderly parents. Better to turn off the phone or keep gadgets away so as not to ruin the moment.
The “Instax and Crafts” event also marked the launch of the new, exciting colors—red and white— of the Instax Hello Kitty camera and the new Hello Kitty film. Summer discounts were also presented when you buy instax models like the Instax Mini 7, Mini 8, Mini 70, Instax Wide 300, and Instax share printer.
