Being “under the weather” may not be as simple as it sounds, maybe it is a sympto
m of something graver than a common cold. Don’t be too complacent when it comes to your health, if you feel weak or tired often, give your body enough rest and proper nutrition. If you don’t feel better the next day, then it’s time to have a visit to the doctor.
People with anemia, feeling exhausted, weak, and restless is an everyday experience. When one suffers from anemia, he or she gets tired easily from working, feels dizzy for no reason, and is generally overcome by fatigue.
Sangobion IRON+ (Ferrous Gluconate+Vitamins & Minerals) has always been serious about fighting iron deficiency anemia. Sangobion launched a new campaign, Sulong Dugong Pinoy, and kicked it off with a media launch held recently.
The event featured speakers like the University of Sto. Tomas Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology chairman, Dr. Corazon Zaida N. Gamilla, who discussed the importance of healthy blood in supporting the functions of the body, the prevalence of anemia, its symptoms, and ways to prevent and treat it. She shares that a healthy lifestyle is key to having healthy blood and warns of complications if signs of anemia will not be addressed immediately. See video below for more.
Also present was Dr. Christie Monina Nalupta – Director of the Philippine Red Cross – National Blood Services, who graced the event to support Sangobion’s vision of a healthy blood nation. She explains the need for more blood donors as the Red Cross has only 50% supply of their target. See video below for more.
