UNIQLO Kids and Babies Collection That’s Global Deko-Tex Standard And in Time for Christmas

SAM_4360katsumi kubotaChristmas will not be cold this year, thanks to the warm, quality Uniqlo kids and babies clothes.  What makes Uniqlo special is the special care and thought they put in creating this line intended for the sensitive skins of the little ones.  The Deko-Tex Standard 100, which is a worldwide certification label placed only on products that clear strict testing of over 100 criteria such as whether the product includes substances harmful to the human body or gentle to the skin, is stricter than legal requirements.  That alone validates the high quality level of Uniqlo products.

kids daily lifeUNIQLO announced the launch of its kids and babies collection for the 2014 Fall Winter season last October 15 at SM Aura with the presence of Mr. Katsumi Kubota, COO of Uniqlo Philippines responding to concerns and questions from the press.   He stressed the five ideas about kids’ daily lives and how they created their kids and babies clothing line around these ideas.

  1. Designs that let kids move freely
  2. Materials designed especially for comfort
  3. Made for easier removal
  4. Fun designs for kids
  5. Reassuring, safe features to help kids grow and stay healthy

Note special features included in certain items such as zipper guards, safety reflectors for nighttime, care labels on the outside, tags for child’s name and address.

SAM_4570Despite the added features and its world class standards , Uniqlo remains competitive and affordable in pricing. The UNIQLO Kids and Babies Collection are priced starting from P290 to P1490.  Visit their newest branch at the Powerplant Mall at Rockwell, Makati.

A new highly functional material is being introduced for the 2014 Fall Winter collection, combining light weight, warmth, and easy care.

SAM_4560The Warm Padded Outerwear series includes coats, jackets, parkas, and vests. Jointly developed with Toray Industries, the new material is an insulating polyester fiber specially processed into a uniform cube shape, similar to a down ball. The increased air space within the garment provides for exceptional warmth. Designed to recreate the luxury of down material, this synthetic material is more durable, allowing for repeated washing, while effectively retaining warmth. Through this new lineup, UNIQLO again demonstrates market leadership by changing the conventional wisdom over kids’ outwear.
